Head Director: Abby Hardage

Meet Coach Abby Hardage, the proud Head Director of the Pirate Pacesetters!

A true Texas native from Wylie, Abby’s dance journey began at just six years old — and she hasn’t stopped moving since. Her passion for dance grew through years of dedication as a member of the the Wylie Drill Team, Burnett Junior High Sweethearts, and the Sapphires at Wylie East High School, where she led as Captain her senior year. Abby continued her dance education at Texas Tech University, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 2022.

After college, Abby returned home to Wylie, stepping into leadership roles with both the Wylie East Sapphires and the Wylie High Pacesetters. In April 2025, she was named Head Director of the Pacesetters, bringing her full-circle in the community that shaped her.
